Meet Dr. Kate O’Hara

Dr. Kate O'Hara

Meet the experienced and friendly doctor who makes O'Hara Vision Center a proud provider of vision care products and services in Murfreesboro.

Dr. Kate O’Hara attended West Virginia University and graduated in 2012 with her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She received a Doctorate of Optometry degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry in 2016. She has been practicing in the Murfreesboro area since graduation and specializes in pediatrics and vision therapy. Dr. O’Hara is a member of the Middle Tennessee Optometric Physician Society.

She grew up in Huntington, West Virginia where she learned to love her Marshall Thundering Herd and West Virginia Mountaineers. Dr. O’Hara and her husband, Frank, were married in 2014 and have enjoyed traveling every time they get the chance! The O’Haras also enjoy spoiling their two rescue dogs, Masi and Roxi, while exploring new places to eat in the area.

O’Hara Vision Center was opened in June 2022. Murfreesboro is now home to Dr. O’Hara and she is excited to serve her community with the best possible eye care.
